In the Collective Transportation System of Mexico City, situations that attract the attention of users and go viral on social media commonly arise. On this occasion, the Secretary of Citizen Security detained four individuals at the Mixcoac Metro station after receiving a report of an act of exhibitionism.
The report indicated that two women were photographed by two men while they were in their underwear in a car, with parts of their bodies exposed. According to the information provided, these individuals could be involved in an act of exhibitionism by taking photographs in their underwear on the station platforms.
Exhibitionism is a paraphilic disorder that involves sexual arousal from exposing genitals to unsuspecting strangers. In contrast to other behaviors such as nudism or striptease, exhibitionism seeks to shock, impress, or surprise the victim to obtain sexual pleasure from their reactions.
After the detention, journalist Carlos Jiménez revealed on his social media the name of one of the women involved in the incident: Yesenia Miranda. The news spread rapidly given the unusual nature of what occurred in such a crowded means of transportation as the Metro of Mexico City.
The Metro of Mexico City, being the most used public transport in the country, constantly faces various situations that capture public attention and generate debate in society. Every day, millions of people travel its 12 lines to move around the city, making it a setting where unexpected behaviors sometimes manifest, leading to situations like the recent detention for exhibitionism that took place at the Mixcoac station.
